An adrenaline-filled weekend in Aosta valley

After stopping in many big cities, it is with joy that I greet a quiet weekend, so to speak, in the midst of nature and the pure air of the Aosta Valley. The clock hands flow more slowly and I feel already more relaxed. The weekend starts immediately well, with an aperitif in a place that has kept open only for us after closing. Obviously, the aperitif has been consumed in an elegant terrace overlooking the Roman Theater of Aosta, one of the few ancient monuments preserved in Aosta.

We spend the following day in the wild, exploring the valleys in all possible ways. We reach the Mont Blanc by  trekking,  climbing and mountain biking. But the best view is offered by the helicopter ride and the new funicular that take us to the best viewpoints in the region.

At the end of the adrenaline experiences, the last stage that awaits us is a deserved dinner. And what a kind of dinner!  Under a pergola, in the middle of the vineyards, we are offered the best local food accompanied by five of the finest wines that this region has to offer.
